Resulting 1to1 session booking experience
A redesign of Cicla’s website to generate new revenue streams through paid content and/or services
Redesign of Cicla’s website to turn it into a platform with monetisable content and/or services
Main goal
Cicla asked us to redesign their website to offer paid content and /or services in order to generate new revenue streams.

Project challenges
One of the main challenges of the project was to turn Cicla’s website from a corporate site to a site that offers paid content and services to it’s users.
Solution
Design of a user flow and its corresponding screens for the booking and payment of one to one sessions with experts in women’s health.

My role
I took part in all steps of the process, including interaction design, UI design, prototyping and user testing.
Research and ideation
Interaction and UI design
Benchmark and desk research
We carried out a benchmark of Cicla’s main competitors in order to undesrtand their business model and identify the prodcuts and services that they were offering, as well as design best practices.

Brainstorming
To start off the ideation phase, we undertook a brainstorming session to come up with ideas to generate new revenue streams for Cicla. Finally, we decided to focus on the creation of a platform to book and pay one to one sessions with experts in women’s health.

Ideation techniques
We used ideation techniques such as Crazy 8’s or solution sketch to come up with proposals for the design of the one to one session’s booking platform.

Preexisting UI kit
Cicla provided us with their current UI kit to which we added new components for the design of the platform.

Wireframes
Based on the sketches that we came up with during the ideation phase, we created low-fidelity wireframes that served as our basis for the final UI designs.

Final UI designs
We created the final screens mantaining CIcla’s look and feel.
Prototyping
Once the final UI designs were completed, we created a prototype that we used to show the design to the client.
